Chris Verity and Phil Dawes formed Christopher Philips in 2007, while previously working together for many years. The hard work of converting old family farm buildings was carried out after work on evenings and weekends.
Our team in-house carries out the processes we provide, including design, production, finishing, and installation.
Our craftsmen are apprentice-trained by us to ensure our high standards are met.
Chris and Phil have worked together for over nearly 30 years and with different skill sets that overlap they create the perfect working duo.
Both Chris and Phil are highly skilled cabinet makers, with Chris focusing on the design and Phil on the production, add a fantastic team behind them, and you get the highest quality output.
Each knows what the other is doing; Chris works on the design from an aesthetic point of view and a cabinet maker’s perspective. Phil’s conscientious approach to production and installation combined with experience allows the partnership to work hand in hand.

Our team are experts in their own fields. We have cabinet makers with years of experience to create the highest standard of furniture with original features or unique assets to meet the most bespoke of styles.
We pride ourselves on the highest standard of customer care, attention to detail, and the quality of finish given to all the cabinets that go into our workshops. A friendly family-run setup with a wealth of knowledge and decades of experience.

Phil has vast experience (28 years) in all manufacturing methods and is rarely phased by intricate design details or requirements. Phil runs the workshops and is responsible for getting the projects off the drawing board and through to installation.

Andy worked with Chris and Phil for over 15 years prior to them setting up Christopher Philips in 2007, and has been an essential part of the team from day one.
A highly skilled polisher and finisher, he is well regarded by colleagues and customers alike and will accept nothing less than the highest standards. Andy is often responsible for the smooth running of a site project once the installation of the cabinet work is complete.

Phil’s wife, Sharon is a friendly face in the Christopher Philips office. Sharon is responsible for sales invoices, supplier invoice processing, payroll, VAT returns as well as general administrative work.
